Mississippi River - Genoa

Hey, had to put out a quick report, especially since dad is working for me! Yesterday a lot of Northern pike were caught and one guy landed one that was 18 pounds! Not too bad. Still getting lots and lots of small walleye and sauger, but the perch have come on tremendously. They are all over! Several buckets of them are coming off the barge today, I mean buckets. Mostly on worms and minnows, pick up a lot of bait as I had to make several extra runs for bait today. Fish are very hungry and almost everyone did not bring enough bait. Walleye and sauger are still hitting the jigs with minnows attached, try the purple or blue combinations.
