Mississippi River - Genoa

Well, have you ever seen the river this low before...common question right now. Yes I have but its been a long time. Still, there are a ton of bait fish in the water which is bringing in fish a lot sooner than usual. More walleye have been caught then I have ever seen this early in September, usually its the sauger who move back in first, this time its some nice walleye. We are also seeing some big northern and some very large catfish being caught. They are all after those schools of bait fish I mentioned. Some blue gills being caught, especially up on the wall right now. Weather has been good and we look forward to seeing you all. We are open seven days a week now.
