The Great Sailfishing Company

| April 20th-23rd.
George Fraza Sr. and Jr. came down from Ohio. They went out on the La
Enter-prize our 28ft. Bertram During their sport-fishing adventure they released 20 pacific sailfish out of 26. They also landed 5 large Spanish
maks., one nice 25-30lb. rooster-fish, two jacks and two yellow-fin tuna. Nice fishing guys. Water temp. 75 F. Clarity 8ft. seas around one meter. Fishing grounds around 45-50 miles for the sails and 8-12 inshore
On the 24th of March our group from Boston Mass. went out on the "La Gipsy" 32ft. Blackfin, they returned afterreleasing 7 Pacific Sailfish and catching 12 larger Bull Dorado's.
On the 25th of March they went out "The Full Circle" 31ft. Bertram, they returned after releasing 17 Pacific Sailfish and one Dorado (which they had that night).
March 16th, 2003
The waters turned very hot for our guests for Ireland fishing on the Full Circle (31ft.Bertram). They released 36 out of 45 Pacific Sails and also cought 2 yellowfin tunas (around 10 lbs. each) / 3 bonites. Once again our guest stated that their Guatemala fishing adventure was their best fishing adventure ever. Remember that The Great Sailfishing Company

Mr. Terry Carter and Mr. Allen Schall from Ohio Joined us for 6 days of sport fishing on The Full Circle and The Enterprise from March 6th - March 11th. Over that period of six days Terry averaged two sails on the fly for three days, one per day for three days and had a great time as he made his own flies of various color combinations. His friend Allen trolled
with conventional equipement and averaged about 4 sails per day and also caught a 55 lb. Bull Dorado, 20lb. Roosterfish, one Bonito Tuna and one Spanish Mackeral. Before leaving they stated that they would be back for sure because no where else in the world has the sailfishing like uatemala.
On January 3rd – 5th the Great Sailfishing Company hosted a fishing club from the Washington DC area. Twenty fishermen on five sport-fishing boats over three days caught 369 fish and released 343 Pacific Sails. They spent their last night in The Villas del Antigua and enjoyed our walking tour and the many sights of La Antigua.
On January 24th,25th and 26th The Great Sailfishing Company welcomed the Swift party that fished on the 25th and 26th. The waters were rough and they elected to return early but not before releasing over ten sails.
On January 26th,27th,28th and the 29th The Great Sailfishing Company welcomed the Sam Miller party out of Piedmont Calif. They fished on the La Serina on the 27th and 28th releasing 29 sails over two days. They spent the 29th in La Antigua and enjoyed one of our La Antigua walking tours. Sam’s statement was that he has been fishing for over 30 years and that this was one of the best trips and the service was great.
On Feb. 6th – 9th The Great Sailfishing Company welcomed Terry Schreader and his wife out of Huston Texas. Terry is a fly fishermen and said that is goal was one sail per day. On the 7th. (Terry’s first day he released three on the fly) note: Terry only counted the sails that he removed the hook from the Bill. On Terry’s second day he released four and ended his trip with nine more on his last day. Terry’s statement was that Guatemala has to be the best place in the world for Sails. On Feb. 12th – 16th. John Meyers came down with his bother Tom and friends Ben and Kenny. They fished two days and released 16 sails on the first day and ten on the second day. Note: They fished offshore ½ day and inshore ½ day on their second day.
